About 20 years ago, the grandson of the winery's founder pulled all sorts of old equipment out of storage and started a wine-making museum.




This is a complete ox skin. Wine ran out the tail to the buckets below.


Slightly newer equipment, imported from France.


La Rural also has an ancient wood block floor for rolling wine barrels.


Their production is now modern.


This pile is grape skins, stems, and seeds.
