For Out-of-Town Guests

Map

We have created a Google Map with locations of the ceremony, reception, and airport.

Airport

You will be flying in to Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (CLE), which is very close to the reception site and the hotel where we have a block of rooms reserved. Attempting to fly to any other airport is not recommended.

Hotels

We recommend that guests stay at the Hampton Inn Cleveland/North Olmsted. We have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate of $89/night; ask for the Rohn-Lee wedding. This special rate is good until Thursday, May 7, so make your reservation today.

The Hampton Inn has a courtesy shuttle for destinations within five miles, which does include the reception site. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Guests may also choose from a number of other hotels in the region around the airport. For example, the Days Inn Cleveland Airport South is within easy driving distance of the reception site, and may be less expensive. If you choose to locate your own hotel, the only area you'll wish to avoid is Brookpark Road east of the airport, which contains Cleveland's red-light district.

Getting Around

As mentioned above, the hotel provides a courtesy shuttle which can be used to get to the reception site as well as the airport. Unfortunately, the ceremony location is on the other side of down and requires driving. (It would be possible, but not easy, to get there via Cleveland's light rail system; this is not recommended.) For those who will be flying in and would rather not rent a car, we can help set up carpools to get to the ceremony - just ask!

Evening Before

Rather than a traditional rehearsal dinner, we'll be having a barbecue Friday evening in Clague Park in Westlake. Those arriving on Friday (May 22) are welcome to join us whether or not they are participating in the rehearsal. We're planning for a crowd. Details will be forthcoming - let us know if you think you'd like to join us.

Other Attractions

The official Cleveland visitors' site is Positively Cleveland; this may have useful information. University Circle, where Case is located, has a very good art museum, a botanical garden, a natural history museum, and Severance Hall, the home of the Cleveland Orchestra. If you are in town Saturday morning, you might be interested in checking out the West Side Market - arrive hungry! The Cleveland Metroparks are great for hiking and picnics.
